I really love Mexican food, and so when I read about the curious little place I knew I wanted to try it. It’s not the easiest place to find, but thanks to my iphone and a group of ever helpful motorcyc guys, I was soon there, and was welcomed by Seamus, the manager, who explained to me that the restaurant was opened after the success of one ran by his dad in Chiang Mai.
Whilst I was looking through the menu, I was served complimentary nachos – the homemade salsa was so fresh and zingy, but I made the mistake of thinking the small green pot was guacamole. It wasn’t. I am still not sure what it was, save to say it started a small bonfire in my mouth.
The restaurant itself is small and cosy, with amazing murals painted on the wall by a local artist.
I decided to have the burritos (I was advised two would be just right for lunch) – they were so good, with the salsa and coriander making the dish so lovely and fresh.
